Former Union Minister and GCCI Founder Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria Visits Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial, Smriti Van, and Gaushala Pharmacy in Mathura

Recently, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized a national meeting on cow service activities at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Research Center in Parkham, Mathura. During this event, former Union Minister and GCCI founder Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria visited the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial, Smriti Van, and Pandit Deendayal Gaushala Pharmacy in Farah village, the birthplace of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. This site serves as an inspiration for realizing the principles of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya, where cow-based products are being utilized to fulfill the vision of a self-reliant India.
On this occasion, Dr. Kathiria stated, “The life and thoughts of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay teach us that the primary objective of nation-building should be to ensure happiness and prosperity for the last person in society. His principle of Integral Humanism inspires us to empower villages and marginalized communities towards self-reliance.”
Dr. Kathiria also visited the Pandit Deendayal Gaushala Pharmacy, where natural and Ayurvedic products are produced using cow dung and cow urine. The facility manufactures Panchgavya Ayurvedic medicines, organic fertilizers, incense sticks, soaps, and other cow-based products. Praising the project, he remarked, “This Gaushala Pharmacy is a living example of Pandit Deendayal Ji’s ideology. Industries based on cow dung and cow urine can strengthen the rural economy. These products are not only beneficial for the environment but are also extremely useful in modern lifestyles.”
He encouraged farmers, cow protectors, and entrepreneurs to adopt cow-based startups and indigenous products. This project stands as an exemplary model for cow-based industries, organic farming, and rural self-reliance.
While paying tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Dr. Kathiria emphasized that through Integral Humanism, the nation can achieve economic growth while simultaneously preserving cultural and ethical values. He further added, “By focusing on indigenous products, cow-based agriculture, and rural development, we can achieve the goal of a self-reliant India. By promoting cow-based industries, we can further strengthen Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign.”
Dr. Kathiria also noted that the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial in Mathura deeply reflects his life, principles, and contributions. The site features inspiring inscriptions and illustrations for the youth. Addressing cow protectors, farmers, and patriots, he said, “Serving cows is serving the nation. If we protect cows, the agricultural system, environment, and rural economy will naturally flourish.”
In conclusion, he appealed to everyone to adopt a cow-based lifestyle, promote organic farming, and contribute to the vision of a self-reliant India. On this occasion, Shri Siddharthbhai Vyas, an environmental and energy sector professional from Jamnagar, was also present.
