At World Peace Centre inauguration, former President Kovind formally
announced the formation of national committee of saints to establish peace and harmony

On the occasion of the inauguration
ceremony of the newly built World Peace Center by Ahimsa Vishva Bharti, in the presence of former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini Ji, it was decided to form a national committee of saints to establish world peace and harmony. Renowned Kathava chak Shri Morari Bapu ji proposed that for world peace and harmony, a national committee of saints should be formed under the chairmanship of Jain Acharya Lokesh ji the founder of Ahimsa Vishva Bharti, which was approved by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji the founder of Art of Living. Shri Bapu said that the committee will work for world peace along with domestic peace and harmony in India. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji, approving the proposal, said that World Peace Ambassador Acharya Lokesh Ji is the right saint to head this committee. He said that wherever there is war, wherever there is conflict, this committee should immediately go there and hold talks; there should be no delay in the formation of this committee. Acharya Shri Lokesh Ji accepted the proposal and said that under the guidance of Shri Morari Bapu Ji and Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Ji various saints of India will be included in this committee. I will my contributions like a squirrel in it. The teachings of Gita were spread from the land of Haryana, and now, under the guidance of Bapuji, the message of world peace and harmony will reach worldwide from here. He said that an advisory board will be formed, whose first members will be Sri Sri and Bapuji and both the apex religious leaders will add leading saints of different religions to the committee. Former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji formally announced the committee headed by Acharya Lokesh Ji to work under the guidance of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji and Sri Morari Bapu Ji. Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Nayab Singh Saini and the huge crowd present on the occasion welcomed this proposal with thunderous applause.
