In-depth Discussion on Cow-Based Agriculture and Soil Nutrition between Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, Dr. Anamik Shah, and Dr. Anil Gupta

A special meeting was held to discuss the importance of cow-based agriculture and soil nutrition between Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, former Union Minister of the Government of India, former Chairman of the National Kamdhenu Commission, and founder of GCCI; Dr. Anil Gupta, sponsor of the National Innovation Foundation, former director of IIM Ahmedabad, and founder of Sristi Foundation; and Dr. Anamik Shah, former head of the Chemistry Department in Rajkot and former Vice-Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith.

The meeting took place in a harmonious and energetic atmosphere, where the discussion primarily focused on the need for extensive work in the field of cow-based agriculture and soil nutrition.

During this interaction, Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria mentioned that Dr. Anil Gupta emphasized the implementation of startup and research-based initiatives for the benefit of India’s rural areas. He strongly advocated launching a nationwide campaign for cow-based agriculture, soil health improvement, and sustainable agricultural development. Dr. Gupta’s years of experience and guidance from IIM Ahmedabad and the National Innovation Foundation will be highly beneficial for this campaign.

Dr. Anamik Shah also highlighted the importance of land and environmental conservation based on his scientific research and studies in the agricultural sector. He stated that cow-based agriculture is essential for India, as cow dung and cow urine help maintain soil fertility. He emphasized that social organizations, scientists, researchers, and the government must collaborate to launch a national campaign to enhance soil health through eco-friendly and people-centric farming methods.

The meeting was also attended by Kantaben Kathiria and Dineshbhai Patolia. All participants agreed to initiate a comprehensive campaign to promote agriculture, environmental sustainability, and cow-based industry research. This initiative will provide a new direction for soil health, sustainable farming, and public health welfare.
