It is crucial to give up non-vegetarian food. No living being on Earth likes to die. Animals and birds, destined for meat, are killed amidst their silent, yet extremely painful protest.  In other words, “Meat is Murder.” All the powerful and intelligent creatures on Earth (such as elephants, hippopotamuses, rhinos, horses, giraffes, cows, etc.) are vegetarians, which proves that the notion that non-vegetarian food provides nutrition and strength is completely false.
While people across the globe are now turning towards vegetarianism and yoga, traditions that exemplify the glory of Indian culture, and are becoming vegetarians and vegans, it is unfortunate that our youth, blindly imitating Western culture, are heading down a path of decline. They are becoming instrumental in the cruel killing of crores of mute creatures by consuming non-vegetarian food, which is the height of our misfortune.
Modern science has also proven that non-vegetarian food is the root cause of many diseases. It causes immense harm to the body, whereas a vegetarian diet can lead to a completely healthy and long life. The saying “As the food, so the mind” suggests that “As the diet, so the behavior.” The more the consumption of non-vegetarian food increases, the more the ecosystem is disrupted, resulting in decline, natural disasters, and diseases like earthquakes, floods, and Corona, or even destruction.  It is the responsibility of every aware human being to know and share these concrete facts. If not for oneself, then at least for the welfare of future generations, it is imperative to fulfill this duty.
