Adopting the Principles of Indian Culture and Jainism is Essential for World Peace-Acharya Lokesh
Jain Acharya Lokesh Ji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and the World Peace Centre, was warmly welcomed by the Gandhi Mandela Foundation upon hisreturn from Athens, the capital of Greece,where he successfully launched the global “WeSupport Peace” campaign. At a meeting of theGandhi Mandela Foundation in New Delhi,Acharya Lokesh Ji was felicitated by GeneralSecretary Advocate Nandan Jha, TrusteesKishor Gavande and Payal Gavande, SeniorExecutive Vice President Ayushi Malviya,Executive Vice President Arpit Gupta, andother members, with bouquets, shawls, andgarlands. World Peace Ambassador AcharyaLokesh Muni Ji stated that the global community needs peace and harmony. War and violence are not solutions to any problem. Even after wars, conflicts are ultimately resolved through dialogue, so why not engage in peaceful discussions before war and save millions from its suffering? He emphasized that world peace is possible by embracing the Indian cultural ideals of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah” (may all be happy, may all be free from illness), along with the Jain principles of non-violence and Anekant (multiplicity of viewpoints). At the headquarters of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti, Acharya Lokesh Ji was also honored by Shri Ramesh Tiwari (Retired IAS), Mrs. Kenu Agarwal, Ms. Tarkeshwari Mishra, Yogacharya Deo Chandra, Shri Vineet Kumar, along with other workers and associates.
