“Gau Rashtra Yatra 2025” is a historic, spiritual, and national-level cultural journey, with the primary objective of reviving India’s ancient cow-centric culture, ensuring the protection and conservation of Gau Mata, and rejuvenating the Panchgavya-based rural economy. This Yatra began on 15th June 2025 from the holy town of Rishikesh (Uttarakhand) and will conclude in Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu). The 61-day journey spans approximately 10,000 kilometers and is passing through more than 12 states. The Yatra is highlighting the values of rural self-reliance, cow-based natural farming, cow-based industries, and the spirit of Gram Swaraj. On Sunday, 20th July 2025, at 5:00 PM, the Yatra will reach Rajkot, where a divine welcome ceremony will be held at Kishan Gaushala, located near Aji Dam, opposite Ramvan, on the Rajkot-Gondal Bypass Road. This event is jointly organized by GCCI and Kishan Gaushala. On this occasion, in the august presence of former Union Minister of Government of India, former Chairman of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog, and Founder of GCCI, Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, many dignitaries, cow protectors, and farmer brothers and sisters will gather in large numbers. This Yatra is not just a religious journey, but a living reflection of the resolution “From Gramodaya to Bharatodaya.” It places Gau Mata at the center of a serious national effort toward the reconstruction of agriculture, environment, health, and economy. This is a movement that leads India’s villages forward on the path of self-reliance, cultural values, and pride. The Yatra is being led by Shri Bharat Singh Rajpurohit. It is receiving energetic support from several institutions such as RGSS, GCCI, Kishan Gaushala – Rajkot, Gir Gau Jatan Sansthan – Gondal, and Karuna Foundation – Animal Helpline Rajkot. At each stop of the Yatra, Gau Pujan (cow worship), discourses by saints, dialogue with youth, cultural programs celebrating cow heritage, and public dialogues addressing rural issues are being held. This grand Yatra has brought together thousands of villages and lakhs of citizens in the honor of Gau Mata, and has given strong support to national consciousness.
